The jury in the trial of a comprehensive school teacher accused of raping a woman he met on a dating website has been hearing closing speeches from the defence and prosecution.At Swansea Crown Court , Daniel Clive Gravell, 34, of Elm Crescent, Parc Penllergaer, Swansea, denies raping a young woman he met on a matchmaking site.

“We suggest the complainant was telling the truth about what took place in his bedroom.” But Peter Rouch QC, defending, said: “It seems Plenty of Fish is one of the seedier dating sites.
We’re not a court of morals and you may have heard of the site.
“The complainant decided to join a dating site and selected Plenty of Fish as did the defendant.
“Having been contacted she had three options, she could have blocked him, ignored him or she could respond and what did she do?

Mr Rouch added there was evidence Mr Gravell’s lodger came home when he and the complainant were together.
