But the Wayanses still like gross-out slapstick and tired references. And more you-go-girlfriend talk from the very hard working, and terribly underserved, Essence Atkins as a teen mom with attitude. The movie that this is most pattered after, Julia Stiles' "Save the Last Dance," was made eight years ago. The brothers' tired gays-are-silly jokes at least find a real target in the subtext of the squeaky-clean "High School Musical." And a few jokes about the social perils of interracial dating hint at a sharper, smarter comedy. I am sure the Wayans are a close-knit, loving and ambitious group.

Fans took to social media begging for its return, they even requested spin-offs just to get some form of the show.

The romantic comedy is about three best friends’ vantage points on love, relationships and business.

VH1 thanked their fans for their support of the show since its debut in 2011, and on March 24th, 2014 they said goodbye.

Well fans can now say HELLO to Season 4 of the sexy, fashion forward show! Woodside, Charity Shea, Travis Winfrey, Terrell Tilford.

We're lucky enough to live in an age when products that can be hazardous to your health come with warning labels.

Like the cigarette pack that tells you of cancer risks.

Or the box of flu pills that advises you not to operate heavy machinery.

Or the radio ads for "Dance Flick" that announce, "From the creators of 'White Chicks' and 'Little Man.'" So don't say you haven't been warned.

On the off chance that you liked those films -- the first of which starred Shawn and Marlon Wayans in drag and whiteface, and the second of which starred Marlon Wayans as a dwarf in diapers -- there's a good chance "Dance Flick" is for you. This time, though, Shawn, Marlon, Keenan, Damon and various other assorted Wayanses have contented themselves with supporting parts and behind-the-camera duties.

The director is Damien Dante Wayans; the lead is Damon Wayans Jr. Unfortunately, this group of nephews, sons and cousins isn't as talented as its forebears (who were truly funny in the old "In Living Color" TV show -- although that family project, more and more, seems to owe some serious credit to David Allen Grier and Jim Carrey.) The latest Wayans film -- like their "Scary Movie" franchise -- is just an excuse for a lot of genre gags. Plus, of course, as many dirty jokes as you can possibly cram into a PG-13 movie (which, it turns out, is quite a lot). What you will definitely think, half an hour or so into this, is that you've already seen most of the jokes in the film's trailer.

But unlike "Airplane," say, or the Mel Brooks spoofs, the Wayans have no interest in weaving them into a single sturdy story -- they just throw things at the screen and see what sticks. The most discernible of the many vague plots has Damon Wayans Jr., as a gangsta-threatened high school hip-hop star, hooking up with the terribly dull Shoshana Bush, a white transfer student with a tragic past. And that the entire Wayans clan clearly thinks the two funniest subjects in the world are gay people and vaginas.

Not-so-topical gags about Halle Berry's hit-and-run, or Lindsay Lohan's wild nights? They're not, necessarily, at least not without some new material.
